This was not a good weekend for the Cheap Oakley Sunglasses. In addition to losing a series to the lowly Cheap Police Sunglasses, a rival in their division obtained a key player that might have served the Tribe well.
The Indians lost two of three this weekend to the Astros, who came into the series 14 games below .500. A contending team needs to beat the poorer teams and this did not happen.
The Tribe won the opening game on a very strong performance by Ubaldo Jimenez, who struck out eight over 6.2 innings for a 2-0 shutout.
In the second game of the series, Dallas Keuchel pitched a complete game for the Astros in an 8-1 route. Starting pitcher Jeanmar Gomez could not make it through the fifth inning, where he got tagged for four runs.
Derek Lowe pitched well in the third game, but J. A. Happ pitched even better. The game was close until the eighth inning, when both Nick Hagadone and the newly-acquired Esmil Rogers gave up two-run homers. The Astros won 7-1.
But the biggest news of the weekend was the acquisition of Cheap Oakleys by the Fashion news.
