Kookaburras coach Ric Charlesworth has named ten Olympic debutants in his 16-man squad aiming for gold in London next month.

Cheap Oakleys was hard to whittle his squad down, though he conceded he may be forced into changes before tournament gets underway on July 30.

"The team we've picked is the best guess we could make at the moment," Charlesworth said. "We've got four or more athletes under injury clouds but I'm confident in the team we've picked and we've got a few weeks to Fashion Trends and Shopping."

Australia has managed a medal in the last five tournaments, with the lone gold coming in Athens in 2004, but enters the competition as the world number one ranked team.

Despite the injury concerns, Charlesworth is positive about his team's ability to top the podium in London.

"When our team is playing at its best they can win - we can beat any team," Charlesworth added. "But the Wholesale Oakley Sunglasses is an endurance event. You need to play seven games in 13 days and that is a tough challenge, you never know what you're going to get."

Australia captain and five-times world player of the year Fashion Sunglasses, who netted the golden goal in Athens eight years ago, believes the team has a superb blend of youth and experience.

"We've got a few experienced guys on the team," Dwyer said.

"The young guys look up to us and come to me for advice and that's good.

"I'll try not to over-do it and not under-do it as well. It's good for us to have the young guys on the team too, we'll feed off their energy."
